Hi! My name is Melissa. I have been a hairdresser since 1987! I began my career in Los Angeles, where I worked in some of the top salons in the nation, until moving to the Central Coast in 2004. I was very fortunate, learning by working with some of the best in the industry, including acclaimed celebrity stylist Allen Edwards, as well as Michael O’Rourke, founder of SEXY HAIR Products and Carlton Hair International.

Working in the salon is fun and rewarding, and I love creating beautiful colors and stylish cuts for people on a daily basis. I especially love doing hair and make-up for weddings and other special events. Living in Los Angeles gave me the opportunity to work extensively in the fashion and entertainment industries as well as on photo and film shoots. This provides me with the experience and creative vision necessary to be able to create something beautiful and unique for every person I meet, whether in the salon or on location.
